Job summary

Chromalloy in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will perform precision welding using manual TIG, CNC TIG, and Electron Beam welding, ensuring parts meet production and quality requirements.

Reading prints and following traveler instructions are essential. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, WD-001 certification or ability to obtain it, and fluency in English.

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare weld joints according to traveler instructions.
  • Perform welding using manual TIG, CNC TIG, and/or EB welding equipment.
  • Complete welding operations on a variety of components.
  • Prepare parts using belt sanding and other finishing methods.
  • Inspect tools and equipment before use.
  • Complete required traveler and production documentation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment as required.
  • Maintain production, quality, and safety standards.
  • Keep your work area clean and organized.
  • Follow all company quality, safety, and ethical standards.
  • Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Help with other shop duties as needed.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
