Job summary

DOUGLAS, GEORGIA — PCC Airfoils, LLC is seeking a Wax Injector to join the WAX department at our Douglas site. The role requires injecting wax patterns, preparing cores, and maintaining pattern quality while meeting efficiency standards.

You will operate on-site, handle diverse tasks, and comply with safety rules; high school education and a brief OJT are expected; overtime may be required to support production needs.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Three months on-the-job training (OJT) required.
• Demonstrate initiative and ingenuity.
• Able to lift/move 2–25 pounds up to 10 times per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform core preparation.
• Dress cores.
• Inject all wax patterns and components.
• Leach solubles from wax pattern.
• Maintain quality on all patterns, gating and sprues.
• Keep dies clean and stored properly.
• Meet efficiency standards requirements.
• Keep work area clean, orderly, and safe.
• Follow procedures and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision, including lot control or dressing.
