Blue Origin is seeking a skilled Waterjet Operator to join our operations team on Merritt Island, FL. You will set up, monitor, and maintain waterjet equipment to deliver high-precision parts from various materials while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience operating waterjets, plasma tables, or similar platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Basic digital literacy including Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate waterjets to cut, shape, and profile materials per engineering models and specifications.
• Set up and load materials securely using forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Maintain consumables and support waste stream; monitor cutting params.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and conformance to specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment or process issues; document work activities.
• Meet production schedules and contribute to continuous improvement in safe environment.
