Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to use basic mathematical concepts and apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual inspection of parts/material for cosmetic non-conformances.
• Inspects parts/material for damaged material, nicks, burrs and assembly errors.
• Uses standard measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Operates instruments like optical comparator, height gauge and transfer stand with dial indicator.
• Sets up and runs CMM in manual mode.
• Reads blue prints.
