Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in City of Industry, CA, is seeking a Visual Inspector for 1st Shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM) to inspect castings using bore scopes and gauges, verify dimensions, and record results to ensure compliance with customer specifications. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED; 6 months of experience is preferred. Certification by CPP and bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6 months experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual inspection of castings using bore scope and fiber optic to check for defects.
• Verifies dimensions of castings using gauges and measuring tools to ensure customer specs.
• Uses hand grinders and other tools to repair minor defects.
• Initiates nonconforming material reports for defective castings.
• Maintains accurate records of inspection results for easy access.
