Job summary

Mistras Group, Inc.-Shop is seeking a Technician to perform in-house Aerospace UT NDT tasks. The role involves setting up and calibrating UT equipment, conducting tests, and documenting results on aerospace hardware. Training will occur across shifts, with potential for supervising Level I personnel.

Candidates should have an NDT UT program completion per SNT-TC1A/NAS-410 and a HS diploma; Level II certification or progression experience is preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a specialized NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A and/or NAS-410 in UT.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• NDE Level II certification with experience or Level I with adequate Aerospace hours to progress to Level II.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate UT equipment and conduct tests.
• Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results.
• Be familiar with codes and contractual documents governing UT inspections.
• Work with minimal supervision and direct trainees or Level I personnel.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Edit and present numerical data effectively.
