MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking a Technician to perform in-house Aerospace UT NDT work. The role involves setting up and calibrating UT equipment, conducting tests, and documenting results. Training will occur on first shift and then switch to third shift; prior aerospace experience is a plus.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of a specialized NDT UT program per SNT-TC1A/NAS-410, and Level II certification with appropriate experience hours. Equal opportunity employer.

Formación

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A and/or NAS-410 in UT is required.
• Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one year experience or prior certification as an NDE Level I with adequate Aerospace experience hours to become certified as a Level II per SNT-TC1A or NAS-410 standards is required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and calibrate UT equipment.
• Conduct UT NDT tests independently using appropriate UT technique(s).
• Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results.
• Must be familiar with scope and limitations of the method and capable of directing trainees and Level I personnel.
• Work with minimal supervision and identify and resolve problems promptly.
• Edit and present numerical data effectively.
