Impulse Space is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Tube Shop) to support the build of flight-critical tube assemblies for spacecraft propulsion, fluid transfer, and structural subsystems. This hands-on role focuses on developing, qualifying, and improving fabrication processes for rigid and flexible tubing, including bending, flaring, swaging, welding, and assembly.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 1+ year of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing engineering role (aerospace or high-precision industries).
• Hands-on shop-floor experience with technicians and tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and improve tube fabrication processes including bending, end preparation, orbital welding, cleaning, and assembly.
• Author and maintain work instructions, process flows, and tooling definitions.
• Troubleshoot build issues on the floor and support design for producibility.
