Job summary

Castelion is seeking an Instructional Designer and Facilitator to design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality training for Castelion's manufacturing, engineering, quality, safety, and operational teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

In this role you will deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training sessions, collaborate with SMEs, and develop competency-based learning that prepares employees to perform safely and efficiently while meeting AS9100 and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning or related field.
• 2+ years designing and developing instructor-led and/or eLearning training programs.
• Experience with learning needs analyses and measurable objectives.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and ID methodologies (ADDIE/SAM).
• Experience collaborating with technical SMEs.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt instruction.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led, eLearning, blended, and OJT programs.
• Partner with SMEs across engineering, manufacturing, quality, safety, HR to identify training needs.
• Develop competency-based learning paths, qualifications, assessments, and certifications.
• Create engaging learning materials: presentations, job aids, videos, quizzes, interactive content.
• Translate complex information into learner-focused content for diverse audiences.
• Maintain training content in the Learning Management System (360Learning).
• Design assessments to evaluate knowledge, competency, and training effectiveness.
• Support role-based competency frameworks and qualification programs.
• Monitor progress and analyze data to improve training impact.
• Ensure content stays current with engineering changes and regulatory requirements.
