Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in tooling, manufacturing or fabrication inspection.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabrication tooling against drawings, specs and procedures.
• Perform periodic tooling inspections using 3D measurement and analysis systems.
• Interpret data from Laser Trackers, Romer Arms and CMM to verify tooling compliance.
• Audit tooling and tooling-related processes per documented specs and procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning and fabrication to provide clarification as needed.
• Identify and document nonconformances; assign rejection numbers when required.
• Indicate tooling quality acceptance on paperwork and in systems.
