Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in El Segundo, CA is hiring an Engineer Tool 2 to design tooling and supporting equipment for aerospace programs. You will develop concepts, produce drawings, and validate layouts while coordinating with manufacturing and engineering teams.

You will review designs for manufacturability, assess safety risks, and ensure compliance with quality and cost targets. This role requires a STEM degree and strong CAD skills in NX CATIA GD&T.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• Experience with NX CAD and CATIA.
• Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2018).
• Knowledge of drawing weld symbols.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop tooling concepts and support equipment for programs.
• Design tooling and equipment with drawings, inspection criteria, and verification plans.
• Review designs for manufacturability and fit/form/function.
• Identify and mitigate safety risks per standards.
• Create layouts of complex assemblies and sections.
