Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years tooling design experience in aerospace/ related high-volume manufacturing
• Proficient in GD&T and SolidWorks (parts & assemblies)
• Able to create 3-D models and detailed drawings

Responsibilities

• Tool design: create tools for fastener manufacturing, develop sketches, layouts and detailed drawings
• Documentation: prepare drawings, change notices, specifications, and inspection standards; manage tooling records
• Design review & optimization: verify and improve tooling designs; perform calculations and layout
• Collaboration: work with manufacturing floor to troubleshoot tooling issues
