Job summary

Boeing Future of Flight is seeking contractors to investigate and develop complex equipment and tooling concepts to meet aerospace design and build requirements. The role involves creating and revising drawings, researching robotics and automation to support the build plan, and preparing inspection and maintenance guidance for equipment and tooling.

Selected candidates will work as contract workers through a Boeing approved third party for the duration of the project, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Design liaison or tooling engineering on the equipment side.
• Open to level 3 or 4.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to satisfy aerospace product design and build requirements.
• Creates and revises drawings and models; researches robotics, automation and new technology to support the build plan.
• Develops and documents equipment and tooling inspection/usage instructions, preventative maintenance plans, and user training.
• Provides technical support for engineering changes and discrepancies by investigating problems and analyzing data to identify solutions.
• Maintains hardware and software configuration and assesses disposition of equipment and tooling.
