Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in metal/composite finishing
• Hand finish tight tolerance ±0.0025” surface tolerance and finish using basic Laser Tracker Techniques
• Thorough understanding of finishing techniques for different materials
• Thorough knowledge of air tools and various hand tools used in metal and composite tool finishing
• Ability to fix tools with Out of Tolerance Condition
• Ability to use manual inspection equipment and inspection techniques
• Must provide own tools
• US Person per ITAR export control requirements

Responsibilities

• Under shop supervision, the Tool Builder/Bencher is responsible for accurately and efficiently deburring and surface finishing tooling and parts manufactured to customer requirements.
