Job summary

Enjet Aero in Huber Heights, OH is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to construct, repair, and calibrate dies, jigs, fixtures, and gages, using NX CAD and various machine tools. You will layout, fit, assemble parts, and perform development work as needed.

The position operates on a weekend shift Friday–Sunday 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, 36 hours with a 4-hour bonus and 25% shift differential; training on first shift is required. Must be US Person with ITAR data access and be able to travel for training.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED and strong machining skills.
Proficient in shop math, geometry, and trigonometry.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities

Create tool designs using NX CAD and understand tool design standards.
Operate overhead crane when necessary.
Verify conformance to specifications with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM.
Maintain specifications, measure, troubleshoot and adjust controls.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and perform daily housekeeping.
Maintain equipment per manufacturer guidelines and engage repairs as needed.
Document and communicate actions across shifts to ensure continuity.
Record labor hours in the ERP system.
Engage in ongoing learning from publications and training opportunities.
Demonstrate strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Take ownership and drive value in new requests; maintain reliability.
Attend training and be available for cross-site support.
