The role requires reading blueprints, operating mills and lathes, and collaborating with engineering

Competenze

• 3+ years of precision toolmaking or mold making experience.
• Journeyman-level mold/toolmaking skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with manual mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
• Experience with aerospace tooling or wax injection molds preferred.

Mansioni

• Build, machine, fit, and assemble precision molds, dies, and tooling components for aerospace.
• Operate mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
• Read and interpret blueprints and mold designs.
• Machine components to tolerances of ±0.001".
• Collaborate with engineering, CNC, and EDM teams on tooling needs.
• Review inspection results and adjust to meet specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace.
