Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Read weld blueprints and operation sheets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for welding: cut, grind and clean.
• Read weld blueprints and drawings; follow work orders.
• Set up welding equipment for materials and positions.
• Inspect welds with calipers, gauges; ensure quality.
• Inspect parts for proper assembly and cosmetic defects.
• Maintain neat workstation and follow safety guidelines.
• Document logs, job orders, and quality records.
• Meet production schedules and standard times.
• Comply with all applicable safety and regulatory policies.
