Job summary

Lunar Outpost invites ambitious Thermal Engineering Interns in Golden, CO to gain hands-on experience in aerospace thermal analysis and space environment heat transfer. You will work on real flight projects, learning Thermal Desktop and applying it under supervision of senior engineers.

This in-person internship runs summer 2027 with Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00, offering mentorship and exposure to end-to-end development of autonomous robotic systems, including hardware testing and real-world problem

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork in interdisciplinary environments.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for space exploration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with aerospace thermal analysis tasks.
• Learn and apply Thermal Desktop for thermal modeling.
• Collaborate with full-time engineers on flight projects.
