Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Training in vocational schools or related on‑the‑job experience preferred.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical theory and background in use of laboratory test and measurement instruments.
• Proficient in shop math including trigonometry.
• Good working skills with Microsoft Office and data acquisition software.
• Ability to generate written communication and read/write documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collects and prepares data used to support engineering reports and analysis.
• Assembles, operates, and maintains laboratory testing, measuring, and mechanical equipment.
• Works as part of a team.
• Adjusts and repairs testing, electrical, and mechanical equipment and devices.
• Inspects test equipment for wear and defective parts using standard inspection practices.
