Job summary

Stoke Space in Kent is seeking a full-time Test Technician to join our dynamic team. You will collaborate with engineers to test rocket components, design and build test facilities, and operate/meantain systems across mechanical, fluid, and electrical domains.

Expect fast-paced, ownership-driven work in a mission-focused environment. Responsibilities include precision assembly of test systems, executing tests, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on mechanical, fluid, or electrical systems.
• 2+ years experience in a test focused role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, and move in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Precision assembly of test systems for aerospace hardware.
• Execute work orders for component and assembly tests; document test steps.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot fluid, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems for test applications.
• Identify discrepancies and author nonconformance reports; coordinate dispositions with engineering.
• Train personnel on required processes and operations of complex test systems.
• Ensure testing is conducted safely and improve efficiency to increase throughput.
• Perform everyday site tasks (shipping/receiving, admin) as needed.
