Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Test Technician to ensure reliability of advanced aerospace technologies. You will fault isolate test failures, verify repairs, and collaborate with engineers to analyze data trends for improvements.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, HS Diploma (or 2 years' experience), CETa certification, and willingness to work 3rd shift with 4+ weeks of 1st shift training. Onsite work with competitive pay and Day 1 benefits.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Requires HS Diploma; in absence of diploma, 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must pass CETa exam from ETA-I.
• Willing and able to work 3rd shift with 4+ weeks of first-shift training.
• Ability to read complex electronic schematics and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing using DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, high frequency power supplies, spectrum analyzer, etc.
• Collect, document, and report on tests performed.
• Evaluate test results.
• Read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits and follow instructions.
• Employ a comprehensive knowledge of electronic theory.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Capability of working independently as well as in a group setting.
• Must be able to lift/carry equipment or parts up to 25 lbs.
• This is a 3rd shift role; training on 1st shift for 4+ weeks; 100% onsite.
