Firefly Aerospace seeks an engineer to support Flight and Test Operations at the Briggs, Texas site. You will help execute test and launch activities, analyze data, and develop automation scripts to improve reliability and efficiency.

You will work closely with site engineers and cross-functional teams, applying strong engineering fundamentals in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role is based at Firefly's Briggs facility and offers exposure to full mission readiness from test to launch.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a BS or MS program at an accredited four-year university or college, or a recent graduate.
• Willing to work in a hands-on, evolving environment.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities toward a common goal.
• Excellent engineering fundamentals.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with 3D and 2D CAD software.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand on feet as required.
• Ability to work on test stands and use standard mechanical and electrical tools.

Responsabilités

• Execute test and launch plans and procedures on console with data display systems.
• Assist in resolving issues and non-conformances during operations; support investigations.
• Design and develop automated scripts to support test and launch operations.
• Collaborate with site engineers to optimize test and launch system designs and operations.
• Identify opportunities for performance, reliability, and cost improvements.
• Analyze data to verify hardware operation and interpret results.
