Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Test Lab Technician - 2nd Shift to perform routine and non-routine testing of aerospace fluid conveyance products. You will record test data and relay results to QA and engineering teams, assisting with recommendations to resolve testing issues and equipment malfunctions.

The role includes 2nd shift hours with a $1.00 shift differential and training on the 1st shift. Strict safety and clean lab practices are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on test pieces to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform testing to quality standards with procedures and engineering direction.
• Manage test set-up, data collection, documentation, test breakdown, and sample disposition.
• Verify calibration status of test equipment and flag due dates.
• Assist supervision until training is completed and supervised tasks are finished.
• Maintain laboratory safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Other duties as assigned by Senior Technicians or Lab leadership.
