Acron Aviation in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a motivated Test Engineer Intern to join our Engineering team for a May–August onsite internship.

You will work alongside experienced test and systems engineers on assignments representative of entry-level work in aerospace, avionics, and manufacturing test environments. This role offers exposure to automated test systems, software verification, data analysis, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant bachelor's degree and returning to school after the internship.
• Basic programming coursework or prior internship experience.
• Fundamental understanding of circuits and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Support development of automated test software and test systems.
• Assist with test execution, data collection, and analysis for testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and test equipment issues.
• Support software verification and validation activities.
• Assist setup and testing of automated test stations.
• Create technical documentation and test reports.
• Participate in root cause investigations and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
• Follow aerospace quality standards and procedures.
