Job summary

PTI Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer to support development and production testing of new and modified products. You will develop procedures, prepare reports, and design fixtures to enable tests, while analyzing results and ensuring quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, knowledge of testing practices, and hands-on experience with test article integration and CAD tools. Collaboration with multiple departments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or similar field.
• Strong knowledge of electro/mechanical theory and testing practices.
• Experience with aerospace product development.
• Hands-on experience integrating test articles and sub-assemblies.
• Experience in technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop test procedures and perform tests according to specifications and customer requirements.
• Organize and prepare test reports and reviews test data.
• Evaluate requirements to establish test criteria.
• Design test fixtures and electrical devices for tests.
• Write programs for tests and analysis of data.
• Maintain and manage test equipment and schedule.
• Lead troubleshooting to resolve test discrepancies.
• Prepare pricing quotes and proposals as needed.
• Support other areas as needed.
