Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Aerospace Test Engineer to support component testing and data analysis for cutting-edge aerospace systems for a 6-12+ month contract (with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position) located onsite in Kent, WA. In this role, you will work with high-pressure gas, cryogenic, actuated, and hydraulic systems, contributing to the development of next‑generation spaceflight technologies.

Location: Kent, Washington (onsite) Duration: 6‑12+ month contract (potential for extension or conversion).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and analyze component and system‑level testing, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements.

• Operate and troubleshoot high‑pressure gas, cryogenic, actuated, and hydraulic systems.

• Design, fabricate, and execute test setups and fixtures for various aerospace components.

• Implement scalable testing procedures to support production ramp‑up and rate manufacturing.

• Work cross‑functionally with engineering, production, and leadership teams to support test planning, execution, and data analysis.

• Ensure safety and quality in all testing operations.

• Utilize sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems for precise test measurements.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

• 1+ years of experience in component testing and data analysis.

• Exposure to high‑pressure gas, cryogenic, actuated, and hydraulic systems.
