Job summary

Actalent is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Aerospace Technician in Thornton, CO for an on-site contract role. You will assemble, wire, solder, inspect and test electromechanical components in a high-reliability aerospace environment.

The position requires strong hand-soldering, reading drawings, and experience with aerospace hardware and IPC soldering standards, with a Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedule.

• Build high-reliability hardware for aerospace, space, aviation, or defense manufacturing environments.

Essential Skills

• Strong hand-soldering skills and attention to detail.

• Experience in electrical, mechanical assembly, and environmental testing.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical work instructions.

• Experience with high-reliability hardware in aerospace, space, aviation, or defense sectors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with fine mechanical assembly of aerospace, satellite, or defense hardware using precision hand tools and measurement equipment.

• Proficiency in IPC-J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 soldering standards, including through-hole and surface-mount soldering.

• Ability to maintain strict quality and configuration control standards.

Work Environment

The role is based in an on-site manufacturing environment, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The dress code is casual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Thornton, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $41.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
