Job summary

Boeing Wichita is seeking a Mid-level Technical Analyst to support advanced metals research and fabrication for aerospace programs in Wichita, KS. The role focuses on machining of high-temperature alloys, NC programming, and CATIA V5 CAD work in a collaborative lab-to-floor environment.

The candidate will work with engineering, materials, and program teams to guide fabrication solutions from lab to production, with strong emphasis on quality, cost, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of related experience with fabrication and machining technology.
• Familiarity with fabrication and machining of high temperature metal alloys.
• 5–8 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CATIA or other equivalent CAD programs.
• Engineering and technical drawing interpretation knowledge.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of aerospace fabrication and assembly to support metallic fabrication R&D strategies.
• Design, develop, verify, and implement experimental fabrication technologies.
• Support cross-functional teams and capture cost/weight savings.
• Develop and analyze material properties and design allowables for metallic fabrication.
• Review drawings and assist in failure analysis for fabrication and in-service problems.
• Implement concepts, analyze prototypes, and verify compliance with requirements.
