Job summary

Greer Stop Nut in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to operate tapping and threading equipment used in our manufacturing process to produce internally threaded lock nuts for aerospace and military applications. This full-time day shift role runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with occasional overtime.

You will set up machines, inspect finished pieces with calipers and gauges, handle parts weighing up to 35 pounds, and document productivity records.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read calipers and gauges.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Comfortable working with oily parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up tapping/threading machines.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges.
• Remove waste and oil from parts.
• Document productivity records on paper and in computer.
• Move parts on manual pallet jacks to the next operation.
