Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd. is launching a new PC-12 final assembly operation in Sarasota, FL, with initial training in Broomfield, CO. The Tactical Buyer will manage procurement, supplier performance and material availability for the new US assembly line.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in purchasing or supplier management in aerospace, strong SAP/MM and Ariba familiarity, and ability to travel for training and supplier support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Three+ years purchasing, material planning or supplier management in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with RFQs, purchase orders, supplier negotiations and delivery management.
• SAP experience (MM); SAP Ariba is a plus; strong Excel and cost/schedule risk skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally for training and supplier support.

Responsibilities

• Procure aircraft components, materials and services per processes and authority.
• Issue/release purchase orders and maintain delivery dates, quantities and pricing.
• Expedite overdue or at‑risk materials to support the assembly schedule.
• Participate in shortages and material-readiness meetings with suppliers and internal teams.
• Provide forecasts and demand updates for capacity planning and availability.
• Conduct RFQs, compare quotes, and negotiate terms within scope.
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and regular supplier meetings.
• Coordinate with Planning, Logistics, Production, Quality, Engineering and Switzerland procurement.
