Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd. is launching a new PC-12 final assembly operation in Sarasota, Florida.

We are seeking an experienced Tactical Buyer to assure material availability, supplier performance and purchasing activities for the new line. The successful candidate will complete advanced training within Pilatus procurement in Colorado during the first six months, with domestic travel required; you will coordinate RFQs, PO issuance, expediting, and supplier negotiations to keep the assembly on

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
Three+ years purchasing, material-planning or supplier-management experience, preferably in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
Experience with RFQs, purchase orders, supplier negotiations, and delivery management.
Experience with SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA MM; SAP Ariba is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Procure aircraft components, materials, and services per purchasing processes and supplier data.
Review requisitions, issue and release purchase orders; maintain delivery dates, quantities, pricing, and supplier data in SAP.
Monitor order acknowledgements and supplier delivery performance; expedite overdue or at-risk materials.
Participate in shortage and material-readiness meetings; coordinate recovery actions with suppliers and internal teams.
Provide suppliers with forecasts and demand updates to support capacity planning.
Conduct RFQs, compare quotations, support supplier selection, and negotiate pricing and terms.
