CFD Research Corporation in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to lead verification for a complex aerospace hardware system. The role collaborates with systems engineering, mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and test operations to verify requirements through formal testing.

The engineer will organize verification activities, develop formal test plans, and ensure traceability from requirements to test results, with travel to Hollywood, AL x2 weekly. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3+ years in hardware development, testing, or related activity.
• Experience with MIL-STD-810/461/464.
• Ability to translate requirements into verification activities.
• Experience with test instrumentation and data analysis.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the integrated system verification test strategy.
• Organize verification requirements into efficient test events.
• Develop formal verification test plans and procedures.
• Coordinate internal and offsite verification testing.
• Maintain test configuration control and traceability.
• Coordinate with engineers and testing facilities.
• Support test readiness reviews and approvals.
• Prepare formal test results reports.
