Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc in Seattle, WA seeks a Systems Safety Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to lead safety analyses and ensure compliance with ARP4754 and related DO standards for aircraft control systems. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to define requirements, architectures, and verification plans.

The role requires strong written and verbal English for technical reports and presentations; familiarity with requirements management and safety

Qualifications

5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
BA or BS Degree in an engineering discipline.
Experience of system development following ARP4754.
Familiarity with DO178, DO254 and DO160.
Understands Systems Engineering principles, including interpreting and writing requirements, system architectures and designs.
Knowledge of requirements management, validation and verification.
Familiarity with Software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Work effectively with all functional groups to achieve product performance and cost targets, and ensure safety compliance.
Plan, estimate, prioritize, and manage work activities to meet project schedules and budgets.
Produce design and development documentation and ensure traceability to customer specifications and company requirements.
Contribute to all Systems Engineering aspects from architecture to verification.
Participate in certification activities for essential and critical level control systems.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly in technical reports and presentations.
