Job summary

L·Garde, Inc. is seeking an Aerospace Systems Engineer II to transform mission requirements into fully engineered space systems. You will balance technical performance, schedule, and cost while collaborating across design, test, integration and program management teams.

Required is a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 2–4 years of satellite systems engineering experience. MBSE experience with CAMEO/DOORS is a plus, with the ability to obtain U.S. clearance desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related technical field.
• 2–4 years of satellite systems engineering experience with DoD, NASA, or commercial space programs.
• Proficiency with requirements tracking and management.
• Experience with MBSE and tools like CAMEO/DOORS is a plus; training in year one possible.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities across the project lifecycle from concept through delivery.
• Develop and maintain system requirements, CONOPS, ICDs, and risk matrices.
• Support V&V efforts and create MBSE models.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues.
• Write and review test plans, procedures, and reports; analyze test data.
• Participate in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and customer meetings.
• Support proposal writing for advanced aerospace concepts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S and safety guidelines.
