Job summary

TRIGO ADR Americas seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to execute and expand supplier quality initiatives within our organization in Los Angeles. The role covers audits, MRB, FAI witnessing, CAPA, and supplier performance reporting.

You will interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolutions. Ideal candidates have extensive aerospace QA background, strong GD&T knowledge, and proven ability to drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and

Qualifications

8+ years as a Quality Engineer in an Aerospace Manufacturing Environment.

Responsibilities

Assess suppliers' manufacturing and quality processes through supplier audits (AS9100, special processes, APQP, process/product audits).
Lead and/or support MRB activities for non-conforming material through corrective actions.
Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verify corrective actions.
Promote Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke, PFMEA methods in supplier processes.
Escalate unresolved supplier quality issues across projects.
Support evaluation of processes and development of improvement solutions.
Provide guidance to suppliers to solve quality issues and improve performance.
Develop and maintain supplier performance reporting; report progress weekly/monthly.
Undertake special projects and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to address abnormalities promptly.
