Job summary

Candidates should have an Associate's degree or higher in a related field, plus an A&P license, and several years of aviation experience. Responsibilities include records, attendance, and maintaining equipment, with day, evening, and weekend classes possible.

Qualifications

• One year of teaching Aviation/Aerospace Structures courses or related material.
• Three years of documented experience in aviation structures, manufacturing, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and FAA standards as they relate to aerospace fabrication, maintenance, and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with technical instruction in a safe learning environment.
• Use varied teaching strategies and materials for different learning styles.
• Evaluate mastery of skills such as reading blueprints, using calipers/micrometers, and verifying quality.
• Conduct mastery assessments and maintain course records.
• Assist with administrative tasks and ensure safe, clean classrooms and labs.
