Job summary

AAR Corp. in Lake City, FL seeks a Structures Lead to direct and approve the work of the crew, using strong technical skills and leadership. You will ensure paperwork, training, budgets, scheduling, and safety align with company and FAA standards to support timely maintenance of aircraft components.

Responsibilities include documentation, customer-approved estimates, toolbox inspections, root-cause analysis, and mentoring teammates to ensure quality workmanship and compliance across tasks.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate or equivalent.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints and interpret them for tasking.
• Experience leading a crew and coordinating maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of flight controls, rigging, hydraulics, and engines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, assign, and approve work for crew with responsibility for hours.
• Document parts removal with correct service orders and scope.
• Ensure crew are trained, qualified, and operate safely.
• Obtain customer approval on estimates and manage budgets.
• Schedule work, perform toolbox inspections, and conduct in-process audits.
• Interface with management and other departments and stand in as needed.
