Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Kent, WA, is seeking an Aerospace Structures Design Engineer to lead the design and analysis of structural components for their reusable launch vehicle. The role involves collaboration across disciplines, managing budgets, and ensuring structural integrity from design to flight. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with CAD and analysis software. Qualifications

  • Preferred 2 years in industry experience with design, build, and/or testing of vehicle structures.
  • Demonstrated experience working on one or more development projects through the lifespan of aerospace products.

Responsibilities

  • Define the structural design of the rocket.
  • Analyze structural components and manage hardware.
  • Collaborate with engineers and test teams for first articles.

Skills

Industry experience with vehicle structures
Command of fundamentals
