Job summary

Cirrus is looking for a Structures, Airframe Engineer 2 based in Duluth, Minnesota. The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering design of structural components and assemblies while supporting certification of various aircraft models.

Applicants should have at least a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and three years of engineering experience. Strong CAD knowledge and the ability to work in cross-functional teams are essential. A comprehensive benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• 4‑year degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Three or more years of progressive engineering experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with mechanical structures and composites (preferred).
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering technical expertise and support integrated teams.
• Troubleshoot installation and quality issues.
• Use Federal Aviation Regulations Part 23 for certification.
• Check prototype and production parts and assemblies.
