Aerotek is looking for Aerospace Technicians in Long Beach, CA for a contract-to-hire position. Responsibilities include drilling precision holes on flight hardware, assembling components, and performing inspections using various tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with structural aerospace technology and the ability to work within tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience as an aerospace technician.
• Knowledge of structural bonding and torque tools.

Responsibilities

• Drill precision holes on flight hardware using appropriate tools.
• Assemble hardware with structural adhesives and install fasteners.
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers and calipers.

Skills

Experience with structural components and aerospace technology

Proficiency in using pneumatic drills and aluminum

Knowledge of torque wrenches and structural bonding

Ability to work within precision tolerances (±1)

Expertise in rivet installs and fastening
