Job summary

You will collaborate across design, stress, and M&P teams, design test fixtures, perform analyses, and document results in reports. Travel up to 25% and lifting 50 lb+ may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Design and analyze simple components.
• Understand load paths and structural analysis.
• Proficient in CAD or FEA software.
• Clear written and visual communication.
• Attention to detail, organization and PM.
• Able to learn in ambiguous environment.
• Self-starter, team player in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to lift 50 lb+.
• Able to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Work with team leads, suppliers, and engineers to develop airframe structures.
• Design, setup, and execute tests for composite and metallic structures.
• Design test fixtures and setups in CAD using NX.
• Perform airframe structural analysis using handbook methods and FEA.
• Correlate test results to predictions.
• Prepare technical documents (analyses, test plans and reports).
