Job summary

Manatal is seeking an experienced Structural Framer / Finish Carpenter to support aerospace/defense programs. This hands-on role builds, modifies, and maintains structural and interior components within manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, and office environments.

You will read drawings, frame, finish carpentry, drywall, and coordinate with teams. Must lift 50 lbs, work in varying weather, and bring 4–5 years of framing experience; metal stud framing preferred.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings and job specifications.
• Finish carpentry and drywall installation/repair to professional standards.
• Demonstrated metal stud framing experience preferred but wood framing accepted with finish carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and job specifications independently.
• Perform metal stud framing (preferred) or wood framing to plan and specification.
• Complete finish carpentry and drywall installation and repair to a clean, professional standard.
• Coordinate with carpentry, drywall, electrical, and production teams to sequence work and avoid delays.
• Follow building codes, safety regulations, quality standards, and facility security requirements.
• Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs safely across the job site.
• Work safely and efficiently in hot and cold weather conditions.
• Maintain dependable attendance and work overtime, including select weekends, as needed.
