Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM with 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, OR Master's with 3+ years, OR PhD with 1+ year.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Strong background in structural analysis with demonstrated engineering experience.
• Experience with FEMAP, NX NASTRAN, ANSYS, or ABAQUS finite element analysis software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with standard office software and engineering documentation tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Support the structural engineering team in the analysis and evaluation of mechanical systems and complex hardware.
• Perform structural analysis on aerospace structures, mechanical assemblies, and support equipment.
• Conduct damage tolerance, durability, stress, fatigue, thermal, and stability analyses to validate structural integrity.
• Develop structural models and perform finite element analysis (FEA) to support design, development, and testing efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
