PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a Structural Engineer for a 12-month consulting opportunity in Chandler, AZ.

You will perform structural analysis on flight vehicles and support systems, leveraging FEA tools to ensure durability and safety in demanding environments. The role requires a strong background in structural analysis, the ability to read engineering drawings, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
• Strong background in structural analysis and engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance and comply with ITAR/EAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis on aerospace vehicles and support equipment.
• Evaluate structural integrity, durability, damage tolerance, and design allowables.
• Develop and review finite element models using FEA tools.
• Document analysis results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development and testing.
