Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA invites a Spring 2027 Collegiate Associate to apply classroom knowledge to real-world aerospace design. You will work on the Structural Design Engineer team, developing configurations, layout initial designs, and creating detail parts for aircraft structures.

You will collaborate with stress, systems, test, manufacturing, and regulatory teams, gaining hands-on exposure to CFR Part 25 and Gulfstream processes.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in the listed disciplines.
• On-site work in Savannah, GA during Spring 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (unrounded) must be on resume.

Responsibilities

• Develop configurations and lay out initial designs for aircraft structures.
• Design detail parts, assemblies and installations; support programs from initial phase through type certification.
• Sustain in-production aircraft and investigate fleet issues and customer requests.
