Job summary

RTX is offering a full‑time co‑op in Jamestown, ND, joining a team of stress engineers on cargo handling system development and certification. You will perform basic structural analysis under supervision and help develop loads and documentation for certification.

Seeking students in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering with CAD experience and a path toward an engineering degree, participating in a meaningful, hands‑on mentorship in aerospace and defense.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering and enrolled through internship.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic structural analysis with guidance from stress engineers.
• Support generation of component and aircraft interface loads.
• Document structural analysis for product certification.
• Assist in structural testing for certification.
