Maverick Space Systems is seeking a self-motivated Aerospace Structural Analyst to join our growing team in San Luis Obispo, CA. The role entails performing finite element analysis of components and assemblies and contributing to structural sizing and design.

Candidates typically have 1–5 years of industry experience or a Master’s in structures/FEA, with FEA tool experience (FEMAP/NASTRAN preferred; Abaqus/ANSYS acceptable) and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Finite Element Analysis Experience required
• Experience presenting analysis and results to technical groups and customers
• Experience interfacing with co-workers on a daily basis
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Self-motivated, organized, humble, and willing to learn
• Willing to relocate to San Luis Obispo, CA

• Perform mechanical and structural design tasks relating to satellite deployment systems andtest hardware

Salary Range: $90,000-$140,000 per year

Job Summary

Maverick Space Systems is seeking a self-motivated full time Structural Analyst to join ourgrowing team in San Luis Obispo, CA. A successful candidate will have at least 1-5 years of industryexperience, will enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and will have proficiency infinite element analysis and mechanical design.
