Job summary

Molex in Lisle, IL is seeking a Strategy Associate who will partner with leaders in Molex's Aerospace & Defense Solutions division to evaluate growth opportunities, assess strategic decisions, and develop market perspectives that shape the business.

You will perform market research, business analysis, and prepare executive-level presentations to identify new products, markets, partnerships, and profit-improvement opportunities while supporting the division's long-term strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to senior leaders and executives.
• Proven ability to think strategically and frame business decisions, tradeoffs, and opportunities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business, operations, and supply chain leaders to measure and refine strategic choices.
• Identify and assess business profit drivers and return on investment.
• Assess existing business performance and identify new growth opportunities and profit improvements.
• Develop point-of-view and strategies for new markets, product segments, and business models.
• Lead industry research to inform market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
• Build acquisition strategies and landscapes, including exposure to origination, analysis, diligence, and close.
• Prepare and present management and board-level materials.
