Job summary

Oliver Wyman Vector is seeking an experienced Software Developer to support software for complex aerospace systems. You will work with systems and test engineers to design, implement, and verify software from defined requirements in a DO-178C-driven environment.

The role spans the full software lifecycle, including design, implementation, integration, and verification, within a hybrid work setting in the Greater Seattle area.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional software development experience, with 5–10 years preferred.
• Strong software development experience using Java and/or Python.
• Ability to develop software from defined software-level requirements through design and implementation.
• Experience designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining software within complex systems.
• Familiarity with RTCA DO-178C software certification and the software development processes and documentation driven by DO-178C.
• Ability to collaborate with systems engineering and test teams throughout software development, integration, and verification.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an environment with evolving requirements and technical ambiguity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to encourage open communication and continuous feedback.

Responsibilities
