Oceaneering in Houston is seeking an experienced sewing technician to operate industrial sewing machines and perform related fabrication tasks for aerospace products. You will set up machines, follow detailed drawings, and work with materials such as fiberglass and ceramic fabrics in an indoor, controlled environment.

The role requires prior aerospace or softgoods lab experience, ability to pass a sewing test, and strong teamwork. A comprehensive benefits package is offered to eligible employees.

Formación

• Aerospace or industrial softgoods lab experience required.
• Experience with sewing machines, heat sealer, rivet press, and hand tools.
• Must pass sewing test during interview.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Make machine set-ups for various types of material, adjusting tension.
• Perform sewing operations on machines and by hand as required.
• Perform cementing, cutting, and minor assembly operations.
• Work with chemicals and fabrics (fiberglass and ceramic).
• Read patterns and drawings; follow written and verbal instructions.
• Perform other duties as required.
